Our experience at this seafood establishment, recommended by our knowledgeable tour guide, Tio Tony, was nothing short of delightful. Thanks to Tio Tony's wealth of information about Bacalar, we trusted his recommendation for a great dining spot, and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival, we were immediately drawn in by the inviting ambiance and friendly staff. Following Tio Tony's advice, we opted for the ceviche and aguachile, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and impeccable flavors of both dishes. Even as someone who typically hesitates to order such items, I found myself thoroughly impressed. A word of caution: heed the advice regarding portion sizes. The "large" servings are truly substantial, so unless you have a ravenous appetite or plan to share, stick to the regular size. One minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic experience was the issue with the card machine, which necessitated payment in US currency (we ran out of pesos ). While they graciously accepted dollars at a fair exchange rate (15 pesos per dollar), it's advisable to have pesos on hand to avoid any inconvenience. In summary, this seafood spot comes highly recommended, especially if you're seeking authentic flavors and ample portions. Trust Tio Tony's recommendation, indulge in the delicious offerings, and make sure to have pesos ready for a smooth dining experience.

Shrimp tostadas were out of this world! Our favourite place to eat in Bacalar.

This place has yummie food and super friendly staff. The chef is incredible and it also has a good location in town.

We were passing by , and Staff was very welcoming & friendly so we just decided to to give it a try . Very HAPPY we did , food was DELICIOUS , fresh ingredients and great flavor. we had a Mix Ceviche , order of shrimp garlic tacos , and some guacamole all of it had great flavor , and 4 drinks . Prices are very reasonable , we spend aprox 35usd/650mx for both of us . Worth it! they also allowed to have our small dog with us .

We've been to Navieros and La Playita and this place had better food than both of them. We ordered shrimp ceviche (fresh, juicy, generous portion, perfectly seasoned), guacamole (super creamy with great seasoning), fried plantains (perfectly cooked with a crispy char!) and horchata (skip ordering this). I usually don't review but this place deserves 5 stars as it was the only place that wasn't disappointing in Bacalar out of the other places we've been so far.

Amazing food (we had the coco camaron and filete de pescado), good prices and amazing service with a smile! Really recommend this place!

The welcome was super warm. The food is fresh and the flavours are amazing. The Aguachile Habanero was so good. The portions are very generous and the prices are far too cheap. The alfresco dining is super chill. Beers are only 20-35 pesos.
